Catching up with show and tell ...

How clever is Sue B's log cabin variation that adds an
Irish chain to her beautiful mostly blues?
Detail of Sue B's blocks

This little feathered star quilt is actually square - it's just the
angle of the photo. Sue H is a virtuoso piecer - this block is
notoriously difficult to keep flat and square. Notice those tiny
Ohio star corner stones?
Peggy recently demonstrated how to make a 3D English paper
pieced Christmas star decoration - just 60 diamonds and some
embellishments. Julie has taken up the challenge.

Colour at the end of winter - this week at Fairholme

Beautiful blue nine-patches on point
- made by Elaine W for our community collection

Luscious pink quilt-as-you-go made by Julie
- for a local charity's fundraising event

Another quilt-as-you-go quilt made by Julie for charity
- gorgeous colours!
Val thought she's use up her scraps in these intricate, colourful
hexagons (there are many scraps left, surprisingly - that's
never happened before!) ....
... but look closely at the very fabulous Matisse print
fabric Val had tucked away for this quilt!
A whimsical African animal panel has bright complimentary
borders added by Lynette, and is a fully finished quilt.
