Quilters and cakes are often not strangers. Just Google 'quilt cake' and you will find hundreds of ingenious cakes decorated with quilting themes.
Not directly related to quilting, but many quilters will appreciate My Big Fat Cake Project 2014, taking it to another level, with a design based on William Morris's 'Strawberry Thief'.
